TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is call TEDx Shoreditch, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDx events, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Our event will be held on 10th September in Shoreditch at a venue to be announced, with up to 100 attendees. The full speaker programme will be updated over the next few weeks.

Confirmed speakers so far include:

About TED

TED is an annual event where some of the world's leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. TED2010, "What the world Needs Now," will be held Feb 9-13, 2010, in Long Beach, California, with a simulcast event in Palm Springs, California. TEDGlobal 2009, "The Substance of Things Not Seen," will be held July 21-24, 2009, in Oxford, UK and TEDIndia will be held in November 2009.
